Your stove can be installed anywhere in the room as a free-standing product, but will require a twin wall flue system to guide the pipe out to external areas.
Your room will need an air brick permanently installed if your stove is rated over 5 kilowatts. A stove with a lower rating than this will not necessarily require added ventilation, and can function on moderate room ventilation instead.
Components like the fire grate, firebricks and throat plate can sometimes distort or warp after time, and will require replacements for you to get the most out of your stove.
Your stove shouldn't smell bad when lit. However, if your stove is brand new, the first few uses may cause a bad odour due to paint curing on the stove.
Our stove installers will inspect the space before they install your stove, to ensure that you get the best results possible. However, when installing a multi-fuel stove without a liner, you'll need to make sure that your chimney is a minimum of 4.5 metres with no holes that smoke can seep through.
